A lithographic print after the original painting, titled Flowers in a Vase, by listed French artist Georges Rouault (1871-1958), featured on the cover of Verve magazine in 1939. The print depicts an Impressionistic vase of flowers, captured with loose, painterly marks. The print has an in-plate signature to the lower right and is presented behind glass in a black frame with a wire to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- fair; toning to print; adhesive residue to the lower right; tearing to backing paper; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; wear to frame finish.
