Signed French Aquatint Etching with a la Poupée Coloring
Item Details
A vintage original French aquatint etching with a la poupée coloring, signed and titled illegibly in pencil to the lower margin by the artist. The image depicts a French countryside in which a narrow waterway of river runs next to several cottages lining a dirt path. This work was published by the Paris Etching Society in New York, circa 1957. This work is mounted under white mat with silver tone fillet, set under glass in a wood frame with a glossy white painted finish, equipped to hang.
Condition
- discoloration and accretion across print and matting. Finish of frame is worn.
