Pair of Kahatcha Original Floral Watercolor Paintings

Item Details

A pair of original watercolors on wove paper by an artist named Kahatcha; little is known about this artist, but their signature is present on several mid-20th century floral watercolors such as these. The two paintings are titled Mariposa Lilies and Harebells, and they depict delicate illustrations of the flowers set against stark white backgrounds. Each piece is signed and titled near the lower edge. They are both matted in white and presented behind non-glare glass in matching thin wooden frames with white and green finishes. Hanging wires are attached to the verso of each.

- paper is slightly yellowed with age.
