Art Deco Desk with Chair
Item Details
A vintage Art Deco desk and chair. The kneehole desk has striped veneer on the top, over three aligned drawers, each with light colored burl veneer. The side drawers have a reeded border under them, above the two stacked drawers on each pedestal, all four of which have a striped veneer. It has reeded accent to the front feet. All of the drawers have dovetail joints and red horizontal handles, with a gold colored circular metal inset to one side and a hidden turned support to the other, giving the handles an offset look. The chair has a simple design with chevron bookmatched stripe veneer to the solid back, with upholstered seat and straight legs joined by an H stretcher.
