An oil painting of a hillside landscape on canvas. This work depicts a group of women washing clothes in a stream at the base of a lush green hill. Whitish houses can be seen poking through the trees and shrubbery, captured in Impressionistic daubs of paint. The work is illegibly signed to the lower left, and is presented in a molded gold tone frame with a ring to the verso for hanging.

- crushed impasto; crazing throughout painting; light scuffing to surface of artwork; heavy chipping and wear to frame finish; toning to verso of canvas; wear and tape to verso of frame.
