Antique Turkish Hand-Knotted Yastik Pillow Covering

Item Details

An antique Turkish Anatolian hand-knotted yastik or pillow covering. It features a orange lozenge field, outlined in red, green, and blue, with three guls to the center and filler motifs. The brown field have additional motifs along with rosettes and ‘S’ motifs. Either side is enclosed with a running water border, and the ends have short wool fringes.
