A 1934 lithograph poster on paper. The piece advertises the 38th National St. Louis Sängerfest held at the St. Louis Arena from May 31 – June 2, 1934. The print is rendered in bold hues and notes the event’s conductor Walter Damrosch, as well as ‘4000 singers’ and ‘2000 school children’. It is double matted in black and yellow and presented under glass in a black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
