A limited edition serigraph on paper titled Claws by well-listed Cincinnati artist and wildlife conservationist, Charley Harper (1922-2007). This playful print depicts a bulldog standing on a beach facing a tiny crab with its claws raised, defensively. The print is signed and numbered ‘210/2000’ by hand in graphite to the lower margins. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire and paper backing to the verso.

Condition

- minor surface stains to mat and print; wear throughout frame’s finish; adhesive residue on glass to the lower right; wear to the edges of frame; significant wear and tearing to the paper backing to the verso.
