A signed limited edition offset lithograph on paper after well-listed and renowned American wildlife illustrator and naturalist John A. Ruthven (Cincinnati, born 1924), titled Mallards. The print depicts a family of the playful ducks swimming in a rippling body of water surrounded by tall reeds. The print’s title is printed to the lower center margin, and it is signed in-plate to the lower left. It is also signed and numbered 65/99 in pencil to the lower corner. A stamp with the artist’s initials is embossed to the lower right. The print is matted in beige linen and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with brown and gold tone finishes. A hanging wire is attached to the piece’s verso.
