Walter Knabe Serigraphs on Fabric
Item Details
A collection of three serigraphs on fabric by Indiana artist Walter Knabe. These long, horizontal pieces use Southeast Asian style motifs of botehs, damask, lotus flowers, and more printed in layers over top of one another. There are two larger pieces printed on a satin style fabric in aqua and fuchsia, both lined to the verso with a black fabric and printed to one end with the artist’s name. The third, smaller piece is printed on a peach cotton and finished with fold over hems.
Condition
- stains and discoloration present on smaller piece, wrinkles present throughout.
