A musical jack-in-the-box featuring the Walt Disney character Mickey Mouse. This yellow and red plastic toy is shaped like an upright piano, with the music box mechanism visible through a clear window in the upper front board; when the crank is turned, the music box plays a tune and then the top flips open to reveal a bust of Mickey Mouse playing the piano. The back of the toy reads ‘Disney Toy © Walt Disney Productions’, ‘No. 711’ and ‘©1973 Kohner Bros., Inc.’

Condition

- large portion of front decal missing; crank missing plastic handle; scratches and discoloration throughout; would benefit from cleaning; functional when tested.
