Item Details
An original vintage oil pastel drawing on laid paper by listed 20th century dog portrait artist Robert Hickey (Florida), titled Brit. The drawing depicts the bust of a beautiful black lab gazing stoically past the visible image area. It is drawn with remarkable detail, making the dog’s coat and muscle ripple and shine. The drawing is signed and titled in graphite to the lower corners. It is presented behind non-glare glass in a wooden frame with gold tone inner trim and a hanging wire. The artist’s studio address is written to the piece’s verso.
Condition
- paper is slightly yellowed with age. A few small scratches and scuffs to frame.
