A hand-knotted Turkish Oushak area rug. The rug has a large central field of warm red with a pattern of repeating geometrics in a palette of olive green, yellow ochre, taupe, and wheat. The compound border features repeating foliate and geometric designs in a complementary palette and is finished with natural warp fringe to either end.
