An antique Sarouk handwoven Persian wool area rug. It features a cream field with heavily ornate design featuring vases, tree-of-life motifs, palmettes, blooming plants, bloomed branches and more all in colors such as: pink, cobalt blue, red, and green. The field is enclosed by a compound border that features an floral pattern in a complementary palette with black, red, and yellow flowers. The rug has short white fringe to either end and is unmarked.
