An oil portrait on canvas of an 18th-century man with a rifle by Italian artist Carlo Pizzato (b. 1916). This full-body portrait features a young man in 18th-century fashion with a decadent red and gold embroidered uniform, holding a rifle vertically at his side. A hazy landscape with a stream and mountains is visible throughout the background. No signature was found on the painting. It is presented in an ornate gilt and gesso frame with scrolling foliate molding. A descriptive label and a short bio of the artist from W.T. Burger Company are present to the verso.
