A 1970 edition of Writings by Philip Johnson, architect of Reverend Robert Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral from 1977 and 1980. Published by Oxford University Press, New York, the book is signed by Philip Johnson and dated, March 1979 with an inscription to Robert Schuller. It reads ’ To Robert Schuller- leader of souls, friend to me, patron of high art, highest regards, Philip Johnson March 1979’. Also included is a letter to Mrs. Schuller from Philip Johnson addressing two plans of the new layout platform area of the Cathedral. Plus, a photograph of Robert Schuller and Richard Meier, Designer of the Crystal Cathedral.There is also another photo of the Cathedral project in mid construction.
