Vintage Vanity Tray with Avon Glass Collectibles

Item Details

A vintage etched glass vanity tray, and a collection of Avon bottles and vanity items. The mirrored glass vanity tray is oval shaped, with cut or etched flowers at the two rounded sides, and it has green felt on the bottom. There are two ‘Avon’ turquoise colored glass perfume bottles with round stoppers, a round, footed soap dish and two turquoise colored glass vases or votive candle holders which are also marked ‘Avon’. A metal can has a screw cap, and is decorated with old fashioned images of a man, labeled ‘Avon Gentlemen’s Talc’, and marked ‘Avon’ to the underside. Another talc can features elaborate multi-colored pastel flowers on a turquoise background, labeled ‘California Perfume Co. 1977 Anniversary Keepsake – Trailing Arbetus Perfumed Talc’ to the front, and ‘Avon 1977’ to the underside. A small, round, blue-green cast glass powder shaker has a removable lid, a plastic pierced cap, and raised roses on the sides. It is labeled ‘Avon Field Flowers Powder Sachet – Avon Products, Inc. New York’ to the underside. A box containing three bars of soap is marked ‘Avon Avonshire Blue 3 Hostess Fragranced Soaps’.
