1978 Metropolitan Opera "La Bohème" Poster After Jamie Wyeth

An offset lithograph poster after Andrew Wyeth for a Metropolitan Opera production of Puccini’s La Bohème. This poster depicts a night scene, with snow falling against a dark blue sky as Rodolfo and Mimì sadly embrace outside the tavern’s lighted window at the end of Act III. Script lettering in the upper left reads ‘La Bohème’, block lettering at the bottom reads ‘Metropolitan Opera’, and small text in the lower right corner reads ‘© 1978 Circle Gallery/Met Opera’. ‘Andrew Wyeth’ is signed in plate at the lower left of the image, and the poster is presented under glass in a metal frame.
