Vintage Composite "Buddy Lee" Doll

A vintage composite Buddy Lee doll. Buddy Lee dolls were created for the H. D. Lee Company Inc., a manufacturer of Lee jeans in Kansas City, Missouri, as an advertising display doll that would be dressed wearing Lee clothing. The composition version of these dolls were made from 1920-1948. Marked to the back is ‘LEE’.

Condition

- shows wear consistent with use and age with a crack to one side of head, chipping to back of hair, one arm has broken off under shirt, something rattling in the head, with wear to the bottom of the shoes.
