Item Details
An oil portrait painting on canvas of a woman. This portrait painting depicts a woman presented in profile, with her curly blonde hair pulled back into a bun, wearing a white blouse beneath a black robe. It appears to be initialed ‘AG’ by hand in paint to the lower left corner. It is presented without glass in a speckled gold tone frame with a metal hook for hanging to the verso.
Condition
-painting has lost tension; stretcher mark to top; multiple scratches and areas of abrasions with paint loss; stains to upper right side and lower right; wear to frame’s finish; paint residue to the verso.
