"Huckleberry Hound" Original Animation Cel Signed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera

A mixed media original animation cel from the production of Huckleberry Hound, hand-signed in ink by famed American animation duo William ‘Bill’ Hanna (1910 – 2001) and Joe Barbera (1911 – 2006). The piece has an offset lithograph background of an interior space. A clear acetate sheet with a serigraph image of Huckleberry Hound pushing open a pair of swinging doors is applied over this printed background. This acetate sheet is what is signed by the animators. A sticker with the Hanna-Barbera seal is printed to the lower right, and the piece is stamped ‘10755.’ It is triple-matted in complementary colored die-cut layers and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire.
