A Rococo style Bombé Commode with brown variegated granite top. This rectangular top chest features a brown variegated granite top with two full width, stacked drawers with recessed panels and decorative brass tone handles. The drawers are flanked by raised stiles with acanthus leaf detail to the top. The chest rises on carved cabriole legs joined by a scalloped apron with central shell motif. The legs feature acanthus leaf detail to the knees and terminates on whorl feet. The chest is finished in a cream tone with distressed appearance. There are no visible maker’s marks.
