An oil painting on canvas. This depicts 18th century figures dressed in primary colors, walking up an Italian street flanked by tall stepped walls, underneath ruinous arches. It is signed illegibly in the bottom right corner and presented in a silver tone painted wooden frame that is wired for hanging.

- overall craquelure with lift and paint loss; protrusion to canvas to lower left corner; yellowing to varnish; overall wear to frame.
