An oil painting on canvas titled At the Falls by listed American artist Barbara Hess Pugsley (b. 939). Portrayed with loose brushstrokes and areas of rough impasto, this impressionistic work features some young girls walking through a rocky forest creek with cascading water and a small arched bridge in the background. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented in an Arts & Crafts style gold-tone wood frame with a linen liner and gold-tone sight edge. A stamp, a descriptive label, and a short bio of the artist from W.T. Burger Company are present to the verso.
