An oil painting on canvas of a Tonalist river landscape by listed Spanish artist Enric Beltran Messa (c. 1940-2006). This work features some unoccupied boats along a river bank. The sun shining through the clouds radiates the entire scene with a reddish brown glow. An additional medium mixed with the paint gives the overall work a rough textural quality. The painting is signed ‘E. Beltran Messa’ to the lower left. It is presented in a decorative gold-tone wood frame. A stamp, a descriptive label, and a short bio of the artist from W.T. Burger Company are present to the verso.

- some wear in frame includes stains, scratches, and small chips throughout.
