Item Details
An original oil painting on canvas by well-listed Cincinnati artist Arthur Louis Helwig (1899-1976), titled Seascape. It is presented in a contemporary composite frame with gold tone finish and a hanging wire.

He was president of the Cincinnati Art Club from 1939 to 1941. Helwig studied under Theodore Dorl, Bessie Hoover Wessel and James Hopkins. He worked in watercolor, oils, and numerous printing methods and was also a well-known mural painter.
