20th Century Oil Painting on Canvas "Mill Stream"
Item Details
A 20th-century oil painting on canvas titled Mill Stream, signed ‘O. v. Minden’. This work features a rustic structure with a watermill on the bank of a water stream, located within the woods. The painting is signed to the lower left. It is presented in an ornate gilt and gesso frame with scrolling acanthus leaf molding. A stamp, a descriptive label, and a short bio of the artist from W.T. Burger Company are present to the verso. Although the bio to the verso states that the artist was born in 1815, this work is attributed to the mid-to-late 20th century.
