Hungarian Marquetry China Cabinet

Item Details

A Hungarian marquetry china cabinet. The mixed wood case features a serpentine cornice and a floral-inlaid frieze above glass-paneled sides and five glazed doors. The doors open to an illuminated interior with glass shelves. Directly below are five aligned drawers over five blind doors. The fronts are fitted with metal knobs and inlaid with lightwood flowers. The cabinet retains a label marked ‘Made In Hungary’ and the whole piece rises on short, cabriole legs.
