A Danbury Mint ‘Shirley Temple’ character doll, designed by artist Elke Hutchens. The doll has a porcelain head with blond curly synthetic hair and brown glass eyes, and a soft torso, with porcelain arms. She wears a white dress with a ruffled hem and white shoes. The back of the shoulders is embossed ‘Shirley Temple – Elke Hutchens’. A tag marked ‘The Danbury Mint’ is attached to the ankle.
