Persian Hand-Knotted Hamadan Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A vintage Persian hand-knotted wool accent rug attributed to the Hamadan region. There is a central medallion in red with pendants against a dark blue lozenge field which is overall covered with geometric foliage. The spandrels are in red with green corners with a similar foliage designs. . Enclosing the field is a blue main border with alternating florettes and carnations guard borders.
Condition
- would benefit from a light cleaning; semi-loose threads to one end; some loss to pile
