A semi-antique Persian hand-knotted wool on cotton room-sized area rug attributed to the Kashan region. It features a navy blue central medallion with pendants against a red lozenge field along with corner spandrels. The heavily ornate field is adorned with floral garlands and lozenge. Enclosing the field is a navy blue border with floral designs. Either end finishes with a cotton fringe.
