Early 1900s La Mode Sterling Silver and Enamel Guilloche Compact
Item Details
An antique La Mode sterling silver guilloche compact. This piece features a powder rouge compact and lipstick case set with green enameled surfaces and pink and blue floral designs. The lipstick case is connected to the compact by a chain, which also has a finger ring attached. The interior of the compact is stamped ‘La Mode’ and additionally stamped with the sterling marker’s mark of ‘R & G Co.’ within a locket shape. The underside of the compact is stamped ‘Sterling’. This piece dates to the early 1900s. The total approximate weight, including the enamel and non-sterling materials, is 1.935 ozt.
