A Japanese woodblock after Utagawa Hiroshige’s (歌川 広重, 1797-1858) Kakegawa (掛川) from the series The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tōkaidō. The woodblock depicts the twenty-sixth station of the road, Kakegawa, and features a variety of people crossing over a bridge with a torii gate. The work is presented behind conservation glass with parchment colored matting and textured wooden frame.
