A vintage early to mid 20th-century original European oil landscape on board, signed to the lower left somewhat illegibly, possibly reading ‘Beilaurd G.’. The image depicts a Tonalist-style landscape imbued with warm, golden light, illuminating a small thatched-roof cottage tucked in amongst trees, swaying grasses and other vegetation along the shores of a pond. This work is mounted in a beveled wood frame with a gold leaf finish, equipped to hang.
