A limited edition offset lithograph on paper featuring imagery from an earlier painting titled The Guardian by listed American artist Charles Bibbs, dated 1994. Depicted is woman cradling a small child in her arms. Numbered 652 in an edition of 2000. The piece is numbered and signed by the artist in to the lower portion of the print. The hand-written signature is below the artist’s in-plate signature. To the lower margin is the title and publication information. Presented as a loose work without a frame or mat and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Bibbs is known for his blend of African and Native American imagery within a focus on bold and elegant figures.
