A vintage Persian Miniature original hand-painted tempera Folk scene on faux ivory, circa 1930. Artist initials are hand-monogrammed to the lower right. The image depicts an English-style rendering of 18th-century men, women, and children going about their daily lives as town dwellers, trading with foreign men, going to market, caring for babies and meandering through the outdoors. This tiny, exquisitely detailed painting is protected behind hand-rolled glass in a cast metal oval frame with a collapsible stand to the verso.
