An offset lithograph on paper of a black cat after American artist Gladys Emerson Cook (1899 – 1976). This piece depicts a profile portrait of a long-haired cat with dark fur and orange eyes, on a beige ground. The work is signed in plate to the lower right of the image, which is presented in a painted wood frame without glass. Hanging wire is affixed to the verso.

- edge wear to frame; toning to print; slightly dusty.
