A limited edition offset lithograph on paper featuring imagery from an earlier painting titled The Toast by listed artist John Holyfield (American, b. 1969), dated 1998. Depicted is gather of friend raising their glasses in a toast. Number 689 in an edition of 1,800. The piece is numbered, titled, and signed by the artist in gold-tone ink to the lower portion of the print. The hand-written signature is over the artist’s in-plate signature. To the lower margin is publication information from the Holyfield Studio. Presented as a loose work without a frame or mat. Holyfield is known for his African American genre scenes with a focus on family, spirituality, and culture.
