African Style Batik Fabric
Item Details
An Africa style batik dyed fabric. This piece features a gray area with sharp pointed edges sitting in a yellow ground. Within the shape is a geometric pattern of orange zig zags with white and black triangles. Veining is present from cracks in the wax during the dyeing process. It is unsigned and presented behind a triple mat and glass in a wood frame that is wired for hanging.
Condition
- slight wear to the paint on the frame at the corners; slight surface wear to the verso.
