Pair of Francis Higgins Victorian Sterling Silver Apostle Spoons
A pair of Victorian sterling silver apostle spoons by Francis Higgins, produced in London in 1873. The spoons feature gold-plated bowls with pierced snake and scroll stems and sculpted apostle terminals. London hallmarks are present to the verso of the bowl including the maker’s mark for Francis Higgins and the Queen Victoria duty mark. The spoons are presented in a velvet lined case.
