Pair of Antique Japanese Imari Porcelain Plates
Item Details
A pair of antique Japanese Imari porcelain plates featuring raised edges with a slight scalloped rim. The plates showcase paneled designs in red and blue with cartouches of landscapes, flowers, and a blue peach to the center along with gold accents throughout. To the verso, there is a two-character mark in blue which appears similar to an Arita mark.
Condition
- both plates have handwritten notes to the versos reading, “#772 Arita-Meiji 19th Cent 1880”
