An offset lithographic reproduction of an original 1996 political cartoon drawn in ink by contemporary American cartoonist Jim Borgman (1954-), best-known for his political cartoons, illustrations for the Cincinnati Enquirer, and the comic strip Zits. The cartoon features the ‘Elusive DoleGingrich Crate of Democratic Myth and Legend,’ referring to the speculative pairing to run for the presidency in 1996. The print is signed and dated in-plate to the lower right. It is triple-matted in red, white, and blue and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with glossy red stain and a hanging wire.
