Hans Figura Signed Aquatint Etching Winter Landscape
Item Details
A signed original aquatint etching on paper with a la poupée coloring by well-listed Austrian-American landscape and cityscape artist Hans Figura (1898-1978). The print depicts a serene winter landscape. Two wooden buildings stand in a snow-covered feat at the base of a craggy mountain range. The piece is printed in cool shades of white, blue, and gray with deep rust orange accents on the sides of the buildings. The print is signed in graphite to the lower right. It is double-matted in blue-gray and white and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with brushed gold tone finish and a hanging wire.
