Tiara Exclusives "Art Deco" Black Amethyst Glass Circa 1970
Item Details
A sixteen piece assortment of black amethyst glass by Tiara Exclusives . The body was first produced in the depression era. The otherwise black appearing glass holds a secret when exposed to a light, a deep purple hue is revealed. The scarce examples were revived in the 1970’s by Tiara Exclusives an Indiana glass works selling via the home party method. The collection is composed of pieces in the Art Deco pattern featuring a flower frog, vases, bowls, candlestick holders, and a covered jar.
