A Modern style extendable glass topped dining table with four chairs, by Calligaris. The frosted and tempered extendable glass tabletop rests atop a silver-toned metal frame. Each chair has red upholstery to the back and seat, and sits atop four metal legs terminating in rubber pads. Each piece is stamped with the Calligaris name and a tag that reads ‘Made in Italy’.
Antonio Calligaris established his eponymous company in Manzano, Friuli, in northeastern Italy, in 1923, employing a primarily female workforce to construct the wooden Marocca side chair. The family-run business expanded internationally in the 1990s, and now operates flagship stores in Milan and Paris.
