Pair of "Shaker Ridge" Nightstands by Kincaid

Item Details

A pair of pine nightstands from the Shaker Ridge line by Kincaid Furniture. Both nightstands feature a medium pine finish with visible knots and Shaker style round pulls on the drawers. Each has a single drawer beneath carved ivy edging at the apron, and rises on four square legs. Matches the dresser in lot 17IND111-094, linked below.

J. Wade Kincaid began making furniture in 1924 at age 14, and in 1946 he founded Kincaid Furniture in Hickory Park, North Carolina. At first making cedar chests, the company soon expanded into bedroom furniture, which they continue to build today. Their founder was posthumously inducted into the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame in 1996.
