A twelve-place setting of Mun Shou Rose porcelain china tableware made by the Arts Porcelain Factory in Jingdezhen, China. The china is in the ‘Western’ style, with large plates for diners. The set includes a large oval platter, small oval platter, twelve dinner plates, twelve salad plates, covered dish, twelve dessert plates, twelve berry bowls, teapot and twelve cups and saucers. The china has a red background with overall scroll pattern with white medallions and floral accents. The china has a white background with flower-filled urn to the center, surrounded by baskets of fruit, fruit borders and decorative banding. Each piece is marked ‘Jingdezhen, China’ (中国景德镇) alongside ‘Made in China’ to the verso. The porcelain was purchased on a trip to China.
