Early 20th Century Regency Style Library Steps With Drawer

Item Details

An early 20th century Regency style library steps unit with drawer. The mahogany veneered case features three rectangular tiers with molded edges, each of which is inset with a burgundy leather panel. The two, upper steps have open interiors of graduated depth while the bottom example is fitted with a single drawer. The cockbeaded drawer front has a brass tone, ring pull and the whole unit rises on a molded base ending in four bulbous, tapered legs.

- scattered scratches, scuffs/marks, and nicks, with slightly heavier wear to feet; a couple light veneer cracks to side panels and one longer example to back; proper back right foot with some chips; some spots of finish loss to back.
