An oil pastel drawing on paper. This winter landscape depicts a snow-covered woodland with nearly-bare trees. A fence leads up to a lone wood cabin with smoke rising from the chimney towards a clear sky tinged with the beginnings of a sunset. It is unsigned to the front, and an inscription to the verso reads ‘Mrs. Stadlock’. It is matted in beige and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a metal hanging wire to the verso.

- scattered foxing to drawing; stains and toning to mat; tear to lower left side of mat; wear to frame finish; toning and staining to verso.
