A collection of four shortwave radio receivers from the 1960s. The Hallicrafters S-200 Legionnaire has a rectangular wood grain cabinet with silver tone and black hardware, and is designed to receive ‘standard broadcast’, i.e. AM radio, as well as four shortwave bands; on the dial, each band is labeled with a time of day and marked with frequencies corresponding to various world cities. This collection also includes three portable Zenith Trans-Oceanic radio receivers, each of which features a fold-down front panel with an incorporated time zone map tool; models include Royal 1000-D and Royal 3000-1.
Condition
- to Fair; Hallicrafters radio missing front part of two knobs; one Zenith radio missing back plate; general wear and marks consistent with age and use. All untested.
